چکیده

In this paper, the resilient-constrained generation and transmission expansion planning (RCGTEP) considering natural disasters such as earthquake flood is presented. The proposed model contains a two objective problem that first function minimizes construction operation costs of resiliency sources (RSs) and, in second function, minimization expected energy not supplied (EENS) due to outage system against mentioned formulated. Also, constrained linearized AC optimal power flow (AC-OPF) equations, operating RSs constraints units, hardening lines, parallel series FACTS devices, angular stability earthquakes floods presence critical non-critical loads. order achieve best compromise response, RCGTEP single-objective formulated based on ? constraint-based Pareto optimization. addition, has uncertainty availability disasters, so stochastic programming used for RCGTEP. Then, Benders decomposition (BD) method solve solution shortest possible time. Finally, by implementing an IEEE standard network, numerical results confirm capability improving economic, operation, indices simultaneously.

A Fuzzy Multi Objective Programming Model for Power Generation and Transmission Expansion Planning Problem

The increasing consumption of electricity over time forces different countries to establishnew power plants and transmission lines. There are various crisp single-objective mathematicalmodels in the literature for the long-term power generation and transmission expansion planning tohelp the decision makers to make more reasonable decisions. But, in practice, most of the parametersassociated wit...

A Mathematical Model for Multi-Region, Multi-Source, Multi-Period Generation Expansion Planning in Renewable Energy for Country-Wide Generation-Transmission Planning

Environmental pollution and rapid depletion are among the chief concerns about fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal. Renewable energy sources do not suffer from such limitations and are considered the best choice to replace fossil fuels. The present study develops a mathematical model for optimal allocation of regional renewable energy to meet a country-wide demand and its other essential as...

A Multi-objective Transmission Expansion Planning Strategy: A Bilevel Programming Method

This paper describes a methodology for transmission expansion planning (TEP) within a deregulated electricity market. Two objective functions including investment cost (IC) and congestion cost (CC) are considered. The proposed model forms a bi-level optimization problem in which upper level problem represents an independent system operator (ISO) making its decisions on investment while in the l...

Flexible Multi-Objective Transmission Expansion Planning with Adjustable Risk Aversion

This paper presents a multi-objective transmission expansion planning (TEP) framework. Rather than using the conventional deterministic reliability criterion, a risk component based on the probabilistic reliability criterion is incorporated into the TEP objectives. This risk component can capture the stochastic nature of power systems, such as load and wind power output variations, component av...
